About.
The Professional Part.
Having spent over a decade as Managing Director for an SME, my professional journey represents resilience, and adaptability required to navigate, and succeed in dynamic business environments.
I kicked off my career as a numbers whiz, a classically trained Accountant (ACCA) in private practice working with clients from diverse sectors, then moving to a career in industry, with a variety of management and special project roles in the leisure sector for a multinational brand.
A bold move took me into Manufacturing and Engineering, playing a pivotal role in propelling an SME through a period of sustained growth and change, earning prestigious accolades along the way.

The Personal Part.
-
Born in Lancashire, I consider myself as a down-to-earth, self-deprecating, and resilient guy.
-
Keeping active is important for me, I’m a regular gym goer and marathon runner – I seem to have a habit of saying “never again” and then signing up for another race!
-
I’m a MasterChef at home, but not on the BBC!
-
A father to two grown-up children, a younger stepdaughter, a husband and a (young) grandad.
-
My biggest weakness is knowing when to stop…I am not one for sitting still watching TV box sets.
